Christmas

Well Thanksgiving is over, and Christmas will be hear before we know it, I got some shopping done with mom over the holiday, really do not have that much left to do, hope to finish in the next week or so. Mom will be coming down this Friday as we are having our Christmas this weekend, its a week earlier than normal but that is what they decided. My mom's book is ready for pre-buy. It will not be out in stores till February, but she was able to order some copies and has been handing them out and signing them, My brother who is not a reader, read it while we were up at moms' I read it when I got back, there were a few things that I did not know about, she wrote about how the accident she was in 3 year ago changed her life, she went back to her childhood through current. I did no have a good childhood and I felt that mom was saying she was sorry for it as she looked back at the choices she made then. It was a good book, I hope she does very well.

Thanksgiving

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving day. We are at my moms for the weekend. My brother and nephew came up with me today. We will be having lots of food tomorrow! I am very grateful for this as there are many who do not. I am almost finished with Christmas shopping, only have a few things left to get, its very little this year, but that is not the reason to the season!

October

I can not believe October is over! Christmas will be hear in a few month, I have got some shopping done, but have a bit more, we only have 3 paychecks between now and then. That does not sound very good. We have all agreed that we will cut back this year and not spend as much so that will help. I am still dealing with the torn tendons in my foot, 7 weeks now, went back to the Dr today and he said another 4-6 weeks! So maybe this will be my Christmas Present, I will get my boot off and can wear shoes on both feet by then. This weekend is Halloween and time change, I am not looking forward to time change, it will be dark to soon, I do not like driving in the dark. I do not do it enough so I can not see very well. Please pray for Stellan as he is back in the hospitial not doing very well, they are trying to get his SVT under controll.

Still not sure what to write about, had a good weekend, went to give blood on Saterday and was finally able my hemogolbin has been to low the past 3 times I have tried, they usually have a hard time getting a vien, but she got it on the first try!! And it was done in 5 minutes, very fast. So a busy week a work this week I have been sitting at my desk last week hoping my foot will heal faster, but I can no longer stay at my desk as I need to get my visits in. I went back to the foot doctor on Friday he put another soft cast on my foot, I go back next Monday. I did get to spend some time with my nice on Friday afternoon, I have not been able to do that in a long time, we went to the park and then went to eat, we both had fun!

First!

Well, I have been thinking of starting a blog for a few months now, but finally took the time to odo it!. I am not sure I will have to much to say, but would like to have a place where I can write down what is going on in my life. So we will see how this all goes
